Tecla Cerchiara, pianist, began studying piano as a child and has never stopped since: it has become the most authentic way for her to express herself and connect with her audience.

She completed her studies at the Conservatory “S. Giacomantonio” in Cosenza, where she graduated with honors and distinction with both a first-level and second-level academic diploma. Her training was enriched by experiences abroad, thanks to periods of study at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich and the Conservatory “Rimsky-Korsakov” in St. Petersburg.

Over the years, he has had the opportunity to perform in solo and chamber recitals in Italy and abroad, bringing his music to prestigious venues such as the Dushanbe Opera House in Tajikistan, the Hochschule in Munich, and the St. Petersburg Conservatory.

I have also participated in festivals and events such as L’Hera della Magna Grecia, the Ionio International Music Festival, and the Pitagora Piano Festival.

I have received awards in various competitions, including 2nd Prize at the Andrea Baldi International Competition in Bologna and 3rd Prize with special mention at the Villa Scacciapensieri International Competition in Siena, as well as several first prizes in national competitions.

Alongside my concert activities, I enthusiastically pursue teaching: teaching piano allows me to pass on the passion that has always guided my career.
